Obituary of William Robert Mosteller
Mosteller, William “Wild Bill”, 76 of Largo, passed away March 4, 2024
at Largo Medical Center. Born and raised in Capitol Heights, MD. He
was preceded in death by his parents Foyie and Minnie Dalton
Mosteller; and his sisters Audrey, Hazel, Jerry and Joan and his
grandson Cody. William is survived by his wife Jennie; children
Melissa (Randy) Smith, James (Cragin) Mosteller, and Christina
(Michael) Hall; grandchildren Tabitha Smith & Harris, Mahlon and
Raines Mosteller and one of the family Kar’en (Don) Naja. Bill never
met a stranger. His open, loving nature and sense of humor endeared
him to many. He would tell you his greatest accomplishment in life was
raising three successful children. Even after moving to Florida, he
kept in close contact with many of his classmates from Maryland and
could often be found sending out playlists of the greatest hits of the
50’s and 60’s. His big heart and playful spirit will be greatly
missed. He had a passion for youth sports and coached basketball,
football and baseball. Peter Pan has returned to Neverland. He helped
so many lost boys. Bill’s memorial service will be Saturday, May 25,
2024 5:00 pm at the E. James Reese Funeral Home.
